The Impact of COVID-19 On Order Fulfillment – Is Your 3PL Ready?

April 3, 2020

The world is grappling with the impact of COVID-19, personal health is the primary concern for all of us at this time.  A secondary effect is the damaging economic impact this pandemic has had including global supply chain disruptions. Products need to flow from manufacturers to fulfillment partners and ultimately to consumers who purchased them.  Is your supply chain healthy and can your 3PL withstand the impact of COVID-19 and fulfill your orders?

Enlinx is working very closely with its clients to minimize any disruptions to their supply chain during this time of need, specifically their order fulfillment.  Our efforts include collaborating with them to understand financial relief options that may be available at local, state and federal levels and being flexible with our operational structure to accommodate their needs and keep their products moving to customers.

While Enlinx is grateful for its strong position, we are proceeding with an abundance of caution to ensure we remain in this position.  Is your 3PL doing the same? Our financial security extends to our clients who can have peace of mind about our ability to continue providing outstanding service and support to them during this very difficult time.  While these concerns pale in comparison to the personal health concerns we all share, we believe that allowing our clients to have one less thing to worry about is even more valuable in today’s economic climate.

If you haven’t already done so, please speak with your 3PL provider about their business continuity plan.  This may seem like a difficult conversation to have but, it is a fair one during these unusual and challenging times.  If you are concerned about your order fulfillment capabilities moving forward Enlinx is happy to help. This help may simply be providing insight and advice or having a more detailed discussion about your business and how we may be helpful moving forward.
